Over 1,000 goat farms are planned to be opened as part of the initiative in the next five to six years, it was said after official presentation of the project.
The Turkish investors plan to take care of the necessary technology, the fodder supply, veterinary services and required training as well as of the purchase of the produced milk and its marketing.
The project, expected to open around 3,000 new jobs, will be financed by Turkish banks and soft-term loans secured by the Turkish government as well as by the Federation's Development Bank.
