A meeting of the Cooperation Network for Support to Foreign Investors in Bosnia and Herzegovina, coordinated by the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), was held on 2 October as part of the 20th International Business Fair “Brčko 2026”.

The meeting presented the results of the Network’s activities and initiatives related to aftercare support for foreign investors. Particular emphasis was placed on cooperation between the Agency, local communities and other relevant institutions in identifying challenges faced by investors and providing support in addressing them.

Participants were also presented with opportunities to promote investment projects and available investment locations through FIPA, while local communities were invited to provide the Agency with information on projects suitable for investment.

The experience of HEEZ Aluminium, a company operating with capital from the United States, was also presented during the meeting. A GIZ representative gave an online presentation on the prevention of arbitration disputes and the role of local communities.

It was agreed that members of the Network would provide FIPA with proposals for visits to companies with foreign capital, with the aim of identifying their needs and opportunities for further support in a timely manner.

In cooperation with its partners, FIPA will continue its activities aimed at retaining existing investments, supporting investors, encouraging new investments and contributing to job creation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
