As part of the “100 EXPO” conference, which will take place on 20 October 2026 in Sarajevo, Marko Kubatlija, Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), will participate in a panel discussion entitled “A Borderless Region – Can Chambers of Commerce Achieve What Politics Cannot?” The discussion will focus on strengthening regional economic cooperation and fostering closer ties among business communities across the region.

Other panel participants will include Zdravko Marinković, President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Marko Čadež, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, alongside other representatives of the business community and public institutions.

FIPA’s participation in the panel provides an opportunity to highlight the importance of regional cooperation in attracting investment, expanding business operations, and creating new business opportunities. An integrated regional market, coordinated efforts to engage with investors, and stronger business ties can significantly enhance the competitiveness of countries across the region.

The “A Borderless Region” panel will provide an opportunity to explore how business institutions can further advance regional integration. Economic cooperation and shared business interests can help bridge differences and foster closer ties, even when political agreements face challenges.
