The Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA), Marko Kubatlija, met today with the Ambassador of Switzerland to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Gabriel Derighetti, to discuss opportunities for improving economic cooperation and attracting Swiss investments to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the meeting, the
importance of Switzerland as one of the investors in Bosnia and Herzegovina was
pointed out, including numerous successful projects in the fields of
production.
The Director of FIPA
presented current investment projects and sectors with the greatest investment
potential, and emphasized the Agency's readiness to provide all necessary
information and support to investors.
He pointed out that
total investments from Switzerland amount to 444 million BAM, which ranks 12th
in terms of investment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Ambassador
Derighetti emphasized that the level of Swiss investments could be higher, and
that in the coming year he will work on organizing promotional activities with
the aim to attract new investors to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The interlocutors
agreed that there is significant possibilities for further strengthening
bilateral economic cooperation.
